Ice Cold Heart, Chapter 1: Blood Pool
He reached out a bloody hand to my tear covered face. He let out a gurgling dying breath as I plunged my katana deep into his heart and twisted the handle. I watched as his eyes glazed over as any sign of life that had been there slowly faded away.
I wiped the tears from my face as I knelt beside the dead man's body. I stroked his blood stained cheek as I whispered into his ear, my voice soft and leathery as a sly smile spread across my lips, "The kill is only as fun as the act." I stood up quickly, removing my katana from his chest, I flicked the blade, spraying the blood from it into the snow around me. I sheathed my katana into its hilt strapped to the back of my waist.
What an utterly beautiful sight, I thought as I grabbed a handful of the gorgeous blood soaked snow as it's cold, silky goodness slipped through my fingers. A ray of sunlight found it's way thought a near by icicle , past the tendrils of my snow white hair that fell into my face. I ran a hand through it, leaving bloo
